Long lost blogging!

No we aren't dead! We have just been so busy that I haven't had time to stop and think let alone blog. We had a gorgeous wedding this weekend. Our friends Ashley and Ryan tied the knot on Ryan's family farm! It was AMAZING! They got married in the tractor barn and it had so many special touches. We were so glad we got to celebrate with them! The last week has also been full or preparations for hunting season. Maryland bow season start Thursday so needless to say I will not be seeing much of my husband on Saturdays for the next few months. But yesterday evening I started my hunters safety course. I will be done on Saturday and then I will be able to go and get my hunting license! I am hoping to score my first deer this season! We shall see...I don't like to be cold so it will have to be before Thanksgiving!
Other than that we have been enjoying our time together and looking forward to things slowing down. We have every weekend packed of things to do until we get back from Charlotte on October 19th. I am hoping to find a weekend to just stay at home after that.
I hope everyone is doing well and hopefully after this weekend we will have meat in the freezer again! For the first time ever the Baugher's freezer is totally EMPTY!
Love to all from MD!

I have to dedicate an entire post to Emma because this girl had me laughing so hard this weekend. She was into photo shoots and boy did she make them funny! She also is so beautiful and these pictures absolutely BLOW MY MIND! Some of them could really be in Teen Vogue! So I am sharing them with you!

And the WINNING photo to me is:
We had so much fun this weekend and I really loved capturing my little diva in these pictures! I hope everyone had a wonderful Labor Day! Love to all for today from MD!

10 Day Challenge- Four Books

So I am not the greatest when it comes to picking up a book. But the dunny thing is when I do I JUST CAN'T PUT IT DOWN!

1. The Help- This book had me and I was sooo sad when it ended. I have heard how great the movie is and I am hoping Mom and I can go check it out this weekend! I am DYING to see it!

2. Any Nicholas Sparks book- I LOVE everthing he has ever written. I have also heard he has a new book coming outi n October and I am SO EXCITED!!

3. Just Breathe by Susan Wiggs- This was a book I read not too long ago and it was so cute and emotional! Loved every minute of it!

4. Dr. Suess books- I love these books and I always have! I can't wait to be able to read them to our kids someday! They always make me smile!

So that's all....I will finish up the list next week. I am heading to NC in the morning and enjoying a weekend with the family! I can't wait to catch up on how Emma is liking her new teacher and classmates and I am sure Mom and I will do some fun things as well. Will catch up when I get back on Tuesday!!!

10 Day Challenge- Five Foods

So I love food! I love making food and eating food! I really love my Moms food! So it is going to be hard to pick 5 things!

1. Meatloaf- Haha! As crazy as it is I LOVE meatloaf! My Mom's/Grandmama's is the BEST! I used to ask for this for my Birthday dinner!

2. Brunswick Stew w/ Oysters- This has become the new Birthday tradition for me and I love it! I can't wait for October to roll around! I love being outside with sweatshirts on shucking oysters and eating a huge bowl of Brunswick stew a al Mom!

3. Banana Pudding- Probably one of my top favorite desserts! Its is just always so good!

4. Peach Cobbler- I have made so much of this recently and it never gets old! I love it right out of the oven with a scoop of vanilla bean ice cream! YUM!

5. Sweet Tea!!!- I don't know if beverages really count but this is hands down a staple for me! I am a true southern girl at heart and I would DIE without Sweet Tea! It has been hard living in Maryland because it just isn't as popular here! I hate hearing that they have "unsweetened but we have sugar on the table"! UGH! It is NOT THE SAME THING! So Brian and I tend to go to restaurants whwere I KNOW they have good Sweet Tea!

Looking at this list I guess you can tell I love good down home southern food! I don't like fancy stuff and small portions!

10 Day Challenge- Six Places

So I haven't traveled much and really I am such a home body that I don't really have that many places I want to go. But here we go!

1. Charlotte, NC- I love this place! It will always be a comfort to me!

2. The South- I love everything about the south! I know it is a little politically incorrect and maybe a little rude but I love what it stands for. I love the Old South and the honesty and the glamour! I love that women get dressed to the nines everyday and care about how they look. I love the Southern drawl and I love the hospitality.

3. Kiawah Island- I grew up going here every summer and I really miss it! I am hoping Brian and I can take our family there one day. I talk about it all the time and I really want Brian to be able to experience the magic of Kiawah!

4. Italy- This is somewhere I would like to go! It is really one of the only places I would care to go outside of the US. I am hoping maybe one day we can plan a girls trip! I know my Mom would like to go there someday too!

5. Hawaii- This is one other place I would like to go! I just want to go somewhere truly tropical!

6. Home- I think Home defines a lot of places for me. My parents house will always be home and then Brian and I have a home as well.I love being at Home...I enjoy living in my own little world and just relaxing. Sundays are my favorite days when Brian and I just lay around and piddle working on chores. I love to snuggle up with Daisy and watch a  good movie and make a yummy home cooked meal.

So thats all..I am heading my Charlotte HOME this weekend and I can't wait to get to spend some time with my parents and Emma and Katie. I am also hoping to see my grandparents while I am home too. I will check in tomorrow! Love to all from MD!
