It's not Winter YET!!

So we had a pretty interesting weekend here in Maryland! We had SNOW...and not just a couple flakes or a dusting but like 5 inches!
This one was taken around 2:00
By 4:00 we had this much!
It snowed hard until about 8:00pm then it tapered off. It was fun to say the least and it gave Brian and I a reason to STAY home and relax!
I was very thankful to have some us time and we really had a fun weekend watching football! We did get out yesterday for a bit and walked around the mall and also made a Wal-mart run to look at tires for my car! Yay...NOT! This is something we had been dreading!
Any way...there isn't much else going on around here. I won't be seeing much of my husband for the next 2 weeks while rut is in here since that means he will be hunting every night. Hopefully he will FINALLY get one!
Much love to you all!

Overdue post

So I am long overdue for a post...its pretty bad that I look at blogs everyday and yet I never can remember to update my own!
I will start to work on this more I PROMISE!
A lot has happened since I posted last. We went to Charlotte to celebrate my birthday and Brian and my brother went to the race.
We headed to Charlotte on Friday morning...We spent Friday night with the whole family enjoying Brunswick stew, and oysters!
Me and Mama!

Love him SOO much!

My good lookin' husband!

Yummy Oysters!

Topped off with gingerbread and whipped cream for dessert!

It was so much fun and very yummy!

Saturday morning we went to Emma's softball game! She played so well! She got a base hit and even scored! She did an awesome job catching too! Brian and I were so proud of her!
After that was over Mom and I headed out to go horseback riding and Brian, Dad and Will went to get things together for the race.
Mom and I had a blast horseback riding. Mom even treated me to a private ride this time so it was longer and we even got to trot some!
Here we are...Mom was on Gypsy and I was on Maverick. Gypsy was Mavericks Mom!

Sunday we relaxed at the house and then got in the car around noon to head back to Maryland.

We had such a nice trip and really enjoyed getting to spend time with family!
We had a slow week...Brian spent a couple evenings hunting. Friday night he stayed at his parents hoping to get a deer on Saturday morning but he still has not gotten one. I am starting to worry because I really don't want a grumpy husband! My father in law has gotten 2 so I keep telling Brian he needs to go sit with his dad! Oh well...
We spent Saturday wrapping meat and my mother in law and I also went to get things for my sister in laws baby shower! It is in a couple weeks but we have a lot going on between now and then so we got it all done! I am so excited to see Carly in a couple of weeks and I am so excited to celebrate this baby!
I don't think I ever posted this but Brian and I were so excited to find out that this newest addition will be a...

BOY!

We are so excited! So baby Brady has already been racking up the gifts in our house!

Friday night I spent the whole evening trying out a new DIY project I saw on Pinterest...I can't believe it worked!
Made out of unbleached COFFEE FILTERS!

I also spent a lot of time working on things for Carly's shower but I can't show those now! I will make sure to take lots of pictures at the shower though!
I think that is about all the news around here. I will try to update soon!
Love to all...FROM MD!

Lazy Weekend

So here we are...it is Monday again! I HATE Mondays and today I really did NOT want to go to work. I had such a nice relaxing weekend at home and did not want it to end.
Friday night Brian and I went over to The Youngs and we decided spur of the moment to go to the FAIR!
We had a BLAST and we even got to see Billy Currington play a couple songs form afar! We enjoyed many of the wonderful fair foods...including Shaved Ice, Funnel Cake, Italian Sausages, Apple Dumplings and Root Beer Floats!
Yum Yum Yum!

Watermelon Shaved Ice and Hot dog...YUM!

Enjoying his Italian Sausage!
It was so much fun! Brian stayed at his parents on Friday night and I headed back up to Hagerstown. I enjoyed a quiet morning while Brian was hunting. Once he got home I cleaned a little and then headed to the grocery store. We had a nice dinner at Texas Roadhouse (since it NEVER disappoints) and I watched Something Borrowed upstairs while Brian watched Football downstairs.
Sunday was a lazy day full of food and football and the Packers won!!! GO PACK!
Needless to say I had a happy husband!
I love lazy weekends and I have needed one for a while now!
Next weekend starts The ROBERTS Wedding CRAZINESS!! We are down to 12 days away until the BIG DAY!
So I am out for now! I need to start doing better with this!
Sorry guys!
Love you all!

No deer harmed...

So there were no deer harmed this weekend on out side. I am sure there were many other successful hunters this weekend but not my man! They have decided to pass up small bucks this year and of course Saturday they all came trotting by Brian. Almost laughing at him as they walked by. All within bow range but he can't shoot! He is heading out again tonight to enjoy this beautiful weather and I must say I am a little jealous!
I had an eventful weekend...I got up early on Saturday morning to take my Hunters Safety Course test. I took the written test and passed with a 100! yay! Then I took the shooting portion and was also successful!
So I passed and I am now certified as a SAFE HUNTER! I guess this weekend we will be heading Wal-mart to get my hunting license(I can see my mom cringing as she reads this...SORRY MOM!!)
So I spent some time with my Mother in Law on Saturday waiting for the boys to get home and then on Sunday we had the treat of seeing my Sister in Law. She was up this way on business and I was so excited to finally see her little baby bump. She looked amazing and it really made it real that we will have a new little niece/nephew soon!
Yesterday afternoon was filled with football, laundry and lounging under blankets. Plus taking in a little sunshine with my little furry baby!

So I will end on that note! Much love to all on a beautiful FALL day! Love from MD!

Long lost blogging!

No we aren't dead! We have just been so busy that I haven't had time to stop and think let alone blog. We had a gorgeous wedding this weekend. Our friends Ashley and Ryan tied the knot on Ryan's family farm! It was AMAZING! They got married in the tractor barn and it had so many special touches. We were so glad we got to celebrate with them! The last week has also been full or preparations for hunting season. Maryland bow season start Thursday so needless to say I will not be seeing much of my husband on Saturdays for the next few months. But yesterday evening I started my hunters safety course. I will be done on Saturday and then I will be able to go and get my hunting license! I am hoping to score my first deer this season! We shall see...I don't like to be cold so it will have to be before Thanksgiving!
Other than that we have been enjoying our time together and looking forward to things slowing down. We have every weekend packed of things to do until we get back from Charlotte on October 19th. I am hoping to find a weekend to just stay at home after that.
I hope everyone is doing well and hopefully after this weekend we will have meat in the freezer again! For the first time ever the Baugher's freezer is totally EMPTY!
Love to all from MD!
