I've been bad!

So I have been bad and have not posted in a while. But I promise I am still alive!
I went home 2 weekends ago to celebrate our friends baby shower! My mom helped throw the shower and I had so much fun getting to see her cute belly. We are so excited to meet little Cannon in March! The weather was so pretty while I was in NC and I came home to a little over a foot of snow last week and if we were still in NC I would have gotten out of work for a couple of days...but not here! I only went in an hour late one day!

Brian and I have been staying busy! I spent some time with co workers on Saturday night while Brian got some alone time! Brian has started his crazy season of going to shows on the weekends for work. This time of the year should be interesting since I was not living here last year during the long work days! But we will be spending this weekend in Harrisburg, PA for the big Eastern sportmans show. We went last year and got stuck during the 2nd big snow storm. Lets just hope that doesn't happen again! We are trying to spend as much time together as possible since he works so much and isn't always home on the weekends now.

We are looking forward to my Mom and Dad coming up in 2 weeks. This will be Dad's first time up here so it should be a blast.  They are able to come up on Thursday and I was able to take Friday off so we will have a nice long visit.

We are moving...ITS OFFICIAL!!

We have put our deposit down on a townhouse! We are both really excited to have more room! We have gotten a 3 bedroom/ 2 1/2 bath townhouse about 3 miles from where we are now. We are moving March 4th which should be fun since we have to be out of our apartment by the 5th! We will have one day to move everything but we will have the entire weekend to get settled since we must move on a Friday! We will have double the square footage that we have now and instead of my 2 butt kitchen(as Papa calls it) I will have an 8 butt kitchen!! It is HUGE and it has an island! I am so excited! I am hoping Mom will come up for the weekend and help us get settled (she is very good at that) and we will just have fun redecorating!

Last week was pretty uneventful and this weekend was spent with Brian hunting the last Saturday of the season (yay for me!!!) and I worked on some work things from home. I was snowed in Saturday morning and we spent the evening grocery shopping and cooking. I made Brunswick stew on Saturday night and put Monkey Bread in the oven for Sunday morning. Yesterday was spent at Tuckers enjoying a Packers win then back home for a DUKE win (Brian wasn't too happy about that)! This week we are supposed to get some snow but other than that we don't have any plans!

First True Post

So I stole this idea from another blogger but I wanted to start this so that our family and friends and keep track of us. In this busy world it is so hard to have full time jobs and keep a marriage stable. It just never seems that we can find the time to call everyone we need to as often as we need to so here it is. You can track our every move, see pictures, and have a little insight into our day to day lives. My goal is to post once a week! Hopefully on Mondays so that I can keep up with it only a week at a time. Brian and I are so busy and seem to be going all the time. Whether it is being with friends, family, going to NC, or just spending time together it is always something.

I am learning that being a wife is not as easy as you would think. I am lousy at cleaning the kitchen (my dad could have told me that one, I never brought my cups out the kitchen at home) and I absolutely detest doing laundry! But I am getting better and I am lucky to have a somewhat understanding husband. So things around our little apartment get pretty piled up! Good thing we have cleaning days and I get caught back up.

I think this is why Brian is a little hesitant about us moving into a bigger townhouse...yes you heard me right! I moved to Maryland on March 5th (I think) into what is now our apartment. But now that we live so far from my family we get lots of visitors and have realized that our 2 bedroom/2 bath apartment just isn't quite big enough so we are moving! March 4th 2011 we are moving into a townhouse somewhere in Hagerstown more than likely. That is the only real news we have rigth now. So...I am heading out this weekend on the big search! Wish me luck!

Well I think this is about enough for today and I should probably get back to work...
